Field / Process Engineer
MetroSys is seeking a detail-oriented Field/Process Engineer to support engineering operations with equipment identification, data management, and process mapping. The engineer will play a key role in documenting and updating critical asset information to ensure effective maintenance planning, spare parts availability, and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify ancillary and support equipment across various systems and processes.
Establish and document parent/child relationships between equipment for accurate system hierarchy and traceability.
Update and maintain the Master Equipment List (MEL) and related engineering databases.
Identify and document required spare parts for all equipment to ensure proper inventory support.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams to validate equipment and spare parts data.
Support audits and reviews of equipment records to ensure compliance with operational standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Process, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in field or process engineering, preferably in industrial, energy, or manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with CMMS systems and equipment hierarchy methodologies.
Strong attention to detail and experience in technical documentation.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
