Finite Element Analysis
Overview:
MetroSys is seeking an experienced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Engineer to support structural and thermal analysis efforts for engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in FEA tools and methods, with proven experience in stress, dynamic, and thermal simulations. This role supports product development, validation, and design optimization activities across various engineering domains.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform finite element simulations to analyze stress, deformation, thermal effects, and dynamic behavior of components and assemblies.
Develop and validate detailed FEA models using tools such as ANSYS, Abaqus, COMSOL, or equivalent.
Interpret results and provide actionable recommendations to engineering and design teams.
Optimize designs for performance, reliability, and manufacturability based on simulation outcomes.
Document analysis procedures, assumptions, results, and conclusions in formal reports.
Collaborate with mechanical, structural, and materials engineers to align simulation with real-world performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience with FEA tools and techniques.
Proficiency in interpreting material behavior, boundary conditions, and load cases.
Familiarity with CAD tools and ability to integrate CAD models into simulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills and technical communication abilities.
